The Preparatory Program comprises 9 Teaching Units (TU), each with around 15 instructors and approximately 200 -250 students. The operations of each TU is overseen by a Head of Teaching Unit (HTU) who has line management responsibility for the unit instructors. Course operations of all TUs, performance management of instructors, and curriculum development and delivery are overseen by the Head of Teaching, who has line management responsibility for the HTUs.
Instructors in the same TU generally teach classes at the same level, which allows them to prepare for courses jointly and share their experiences, classes and materials. They are also responsible for producing formative assessment tools such as quizzes or project work for their own cohort of students.
